EDJA ALLGÄU AIRPORT MEMMINGEN

 

EDJA is a former air base in the south of Bavaria and since 2007 a civil airport. With 1.7 million passengers in 2019, it is one of the big regional airports in Germany. Because of the near to Munich (about 100 km) the airport is also known as Munich West.

 

On the north side there are 6 gates used by low cost airlines like Ryanair or Wizz Air. On the south side you will find a GA area between former bunkers for planes. Within the year 2019 the runway size was extended to 45 m x 2400 m.

EDJA ist ein ehemaliger Fliegerhorst im Süden Bayerns und seit 2007 ein ziviler Flughafen. Mit 1,7 Millionen Passagieren im Jahr 2019 ist er einer der großen Regionalflughäfen in Deutschland. Aufgrund der Nähe zu München (ca. 100 km) wird der Flughafen auch als München West bezeichnet.

 

Auf der Nordseite befinden sich 6 Gates, die von Billigfluglinien wie Ryanair oder Wizz Air genutzt werden. Auf der Südseite befindet sich zwischen ehemaligen Bunkern für Flugzeuge ein GA-Bereich.
Im Jahr 2019 wurde die Start- und Landebahn auf 45 m x 2400 m verlängert.

Unpack the archive and move the folder fredsairports-edja-allgaeuairport into the community folder of Flight Simulator Inside the Flight Simulator go to Profile -> Contenmanager and deactivate EDJA by Microsoft

 

INSTALLATION (FREE DOWNLOAD)

Download both files - both archivesmust be located in the same folder. Unpack the archive fredsairports-edja-allgaeuairport.7z.001 with the program 7zip. Move the folder fredsairports-edja-allgaeuairport into the community folder of Flight Simulator. Inside the Flight Simulator go to Profile -> Contenmanager and deactivate EDJA by Microsoft


For GSX Pro users it is recommended to rename the following folder: Community/fredsairports-edja-allgaeuairport/AirportServices.
It does not matter how you name the folder (for example AirportServices_OLD ).
